Flower - Fireweed SeriesRegular price $57.00
Handmade with love in Whitehorse, Yukon by expert glass artisans.
The fireweed is Yukon’s territorial flower, but it also symbolizes rebirth after the devastation of forest fires. We too as glass blowers use fire to grow these beautiful pieces, they represent the love we hold for this northern land in all of its flowering majesty.
We have decorative pieces in our lives for the pleasure of enjoying something beautiful. Our inspiration for creating these pieces is the pure love of the material and its ability to be manipulated into valued and enjoyed objects.
Lumel glassware is designed and crafted to be beautiful, durable, and sustainable – 50% or more of our glass is recycled glass. Each piece is created with 100% love and Yukon-made – a perfect combination of northern practicality and pure skill.
Lumel Glass is the online storefront of Lumel Studios, which was founded in Whitehorse, Yukon. We believe in the power of happiness and creativity, and purposefully designed a workshop meant to be inclusive to all people, socioeconomic statuses, ages, and abilities. That exclusivity began with the diverse building crew and continues every day with the people that enter our studio. Together, we create something lasting and strong.
(As handmade, one-of-a-kind piece of artwork, no two Lumel Glass pieces are the same. For that reason, we cannot guarantee your item will be exactly as shown. If you aren't satisfied, we will do our best to make it right. Please see our return policy for details.)
