Mount Churchill, one of the tallest peaks in North America located on the traditional lands of the White River First Nations, exploded 1200 years ago leaving a blanket of ash covering over 250,000 square kilometers. White River ash is a visible line in the banks of the Yukon River and is discovered a few inches below the surface by every Yukon outhouse digger.
It can also be found in Lumel Studios White River Ash Series. The crystalized obsidian forms distinctly beautiful formations within glass objects.
